Egypt.. Fulfilling Bible End times 2013

"I Will Set Egyptians Against Egyptians"

Prophecy

Isaiah 19
1 The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it. 2 And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom. 3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards. 4 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts. 5 And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up. 6 And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither. 7 The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more. 8 The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish. 9 Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded. 10 And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices and ponds for fish.
11 Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings? 12 Where are they? where are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt. 13 The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, even they that are the stay of the tribes thereof. 14 The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit. 15 Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do. 16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it. 17 And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.
18 In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction. 19 In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD. 20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them. 21 And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it. 22 And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.
23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians. 24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land: 25 Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.

Ezekiel Chapter 38 and 39 = Daniel 11:45
  1. Their geographical position is the same. "Gog's" country is in the north part in relation to the Holy Land; as it is written, "Thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts". "Gog" is therefore "the king of the north", his place or country being there.
  2. Both of them are adversaries of Israel and invaders of the Holy Land. The eleventh chapter of Daniel abundantly proves this in relation to "the king of the north"; and of "Gog", Jehovah said: "Thou shalt come up against my people Israel, as cloud to cover the land".
  3. The time they invade the land is the same. "The king of the north" invades in the last days. Of "Gog" it is said: "It shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land".
  4. The same peoples are named as components of their armies. The Libyans and Ethiopians are allies with "the king of the north"; and in the enumeration of Gog's forces, it says, "Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them".
  5. "Gog" is the chief prince of Meschech and Tubal. Meshech, the sixth son of Japheth (Genesis 10:2) is the founder of a tribe (1 Chronicles 1:5; Ezekiel 27:13; 38:2,3). They were in all probability the Moschi people, inhabiting the Moschian Mountains, between the Black and the Caspian Seas. In Psalms 120:5 the name occurs simply as a synonym for foreigners or barbarians. "During the ascendancy of the Babylonians and Persians in Western Asia, the Moschi were subdued; but it seems probable that a large number of them crossed the Caucasus range and spread over the northern steppes, mingling with the Scythians. There they became known as Muscovs and gave this name to the Russian nation and its ancient capital by which they are still generally known throughout the East" (Easton's Bible Dictionary).
Many ancient sources have clearly identified "Magog" as referring to the "Scythians".
One of the earliest references to Magog was made by Hesiod, "the father of Greek didactic poetry" who identified Magog with the Scythians and southern Russia in the 7th century B.C. Hesiod was a contemporary of Ezekiel.
Josephus Flavius clearly identified Magog. "Magog founded the Magogians, thus named after him, but who were by the Greeks called Scythians". (Josephus, Antiquities, 1.123; Jerome, Commentary on Ezekiel 38:2)

The Greek historian Herodotus wrote that in the fifth century B.C. the Scythians ruled from the Don River, in present southern Russia, to the Carpathian Mountains in central Europe.

Philo, is another historian in the first century A.D. who identified "Magog" with southern Russia.

However, Northern Europe can easily be "Gog" as well with the EU headquarters in Brussels  Belgium and Strasbourg  Austria. Belgium, France,
  6. Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands,
Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom Make up the "WEU" Western European Union.

Recommendation 666 is the recommendation from the Assembly of WEU, entitled Recommendation 666 is a text adopted in June of 2000. The sub-heading reads "on the consequences of including certain functions of WEU in the European Union, a reply to the annual report of the Council," it states [4]

    1. Take the measures necessary for WEU to ensure that the collective defence commitment provided for in Article V of the modified Brussels Treaty is effectively maintained, taking account of the recent decisions concerning the European Security and Defence Policy;
To trace back to Article V of the modified Brussels Treaty, it states specifically that [5],
    ARTICLE V:
If any of the High Contracting Parties should be the object of an armed attack in Europe, the other High Contracting Parties will, in accordance with the provisions of Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, afford the Party so attacked all the military and other aid and assistance in their power.
Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations states specifically [6],
    Article 51:
Nothing in the present Charter shall impair the inherent right of individual or collective self-defence if an armed attack occurs against a Member of the United Nations, until the Security Council has taken measures necessary to maintain international peace and security. Measures taken by Members in the exercise of this right of self-defence shall be immediately reported to the Security Council and shall not in any way affect the authority and responsibility of the Security Council under the present Charter to take at any time such action as it deems necessary in order to maintain or restore international peace and security.
Now to sum it up, recommendation number seven under, "Recomendation 666 on the consequences of including certain functions of WEU in the European Union, a reply to the annual report of the Council," states,
    7. Do what is necessary to ensure that during the transitional period WEU is in a position to respond more effectively to any requests from the European Union to develop and implement actions of the Union, anticipating them in so far as is possible;
The Assmebly of WEU's recommendation 666, recommendation to the Council of the European Unon number 12, states that [7],
    12. Support proposals for the WEU Secretary-General and CFSP High Representative to preside over the PSC and civilian crisis-management machinery and give him powers to convene the Council of the European Union in the event of an emergency;
Recommendation 666 essentially created an office within European politics and foreign policy that focuses or converges all respective EU member country voices to one. That one voice, or the one who chairs such a position currently, is Javier Solana. The WEU has a ten nation military alliance within the European Union. Through the Assembly of WEU and its adoption of Recommendation 666 coupled with recommendations to the European Council on the adopted text, frameworks are in place to sustain the growth and capabilities of a truly united Europe under a united European military command structure.

The Western European Union released a declaration  stating that its 10-nation military alliance has agreed to dissolve itself. Plans are being made to end the alliance, preferably by the end of June 2011.
    Read the declaration here.
What does this mean for those of us who have wondered if these 10 nations could be the 10 kings of Bible prophecy? We have to wait and see.And WEU is part of NATO
Remember that the 10 nations have just one reason to exist — to give their power and authority to the beast (Revelation 17:13). Once they’ve serve their purpose, then they will exit the world stage. This seems to be what’s meant by Revelation 17:12, which says that the 10 kings “receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour.” One hour, in Scripture, refers to a short period of time. So, the WEU’s intent to dissolve itself doesn’t necessarily disqualify it as being the 10 kings of prophecy.
One statement in the declaration particularly caught my attention:
[W]e remain strongly committed to the principle of mutual defence of article V of the Modified Brussels Treaty.
The WEU has therefore accomplished its historical role.
This statement is interesting because it says, in effect, that the Western European Union has fulfilled its purpose — it has contributed the principle of mutual defense to the European Union. Now the 10 WEUnations are voluntarily giving up their exclusive alliance and military resources and handing them over to the larger EU alliance.
This is consistent with  Revelation 17:13, which states that the one purpose of the 10 kings is to give their power and authority to the beast. Also these Ten destroy the Whore Mystery Babylon

Revelation 17:16 The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the ...

    bible.cc/revelation/17-16.htm
And the ten horns that you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute...embraced within the limits of those ten kingdoms, shall become hostile to the ... And shall eat her flesh - Shall completely destroy her - as if her flesh were consumed

Many think this points to America and or Rome that represents the power base of Christianity. However, Mystery Babylon more clearly fits all false religion including apostate Christians.

Comparing Daniel 11 with current events and likely scenarios for future political and miltary fulfillment of this end-time prophesy, one must remember that the EU-Nato forces will come into the "south" as sure as Russia will also. So the descriptions of the back and forth military battles will also involve all the regions players.

    Arab Spring and Future Scenarios

    by Samir Yousif (January 2012)

    The Arab Spring
It may be correct to assume that the masses in
the Middle East have a very short memory, or they
are not willing to learn from non-Arab experiences.
At this point I am referring to the Iranian Islamic Revolution
of the 1970’s. Any re-evaluation of the Iranian
Revolution, after over three decades, indicates
clearly that it failed to fulfill its basic promise o
f a better life to the Iranian people, and that Islam
has turned out not to be the promised solution, as the
Revolution once claimed. These days, the
    Iranian economy suffers greatly from
    stagnation, unemployment, poverty, and
    widespread corruption. And although there
are “elections” in Iran, all commentators
agree that Iran is not a democratic country.
Add to that the fact that it suffers from the
absence of political and personal freedoms.
The revolt against the present Iranian regime
comes not only from without, but actually it
originates from within. It is the very supporters
of the present theocratic regime that represent today’s main opposition. This development is a significant
proof that the regime has passed the limits of
     its legitimacy.[1]
While the entire Muslim world is in a path of
     increasing Islamization, the Iranian Revolution
put the Iranian people ahead of the Arab masses
by at least three decades. This is why it has
been mentioned at the start of this paper.
     The Iranian people understand the
    consequences of regime-change.
The Arabs have yet to learn.
This paper holds the belief that the
consequences of the Arab Spring cannot
     be accurately predicted, yet regional
involvement will be fully active in
     determining the future course of
the Middle East. The Centers of
Power that are active in this political
process are located in Qatar, Saudi Arabia,
Turkey, Iran and Iraq.[2] EachCenter of Power
     has a different political agenda,
    possesses different means of influence
and is motivated by Islamic sectarian
allegiances, The most notable of all
    is the Qatar-Turkey axis.
    Turkey, Qatar and Iran
The continuation of the so-called Arab
    Spring revived Turkey’s traditional ambitions.
     Today Turkey, which is Sunni-Muslim,
has the opportunity to re-control its
old Arab colonies. This Turkish re-control
can take any form of political alliance
     between thee Muslim Middle East
     countries with Istanbul being the
    center of this new alliance.

This Turkish ambition may be realized through
     strengthening the Muslim Brotherhood
     Movements (MBM) in the different
     Arab countries. The present Turkish
    ruling party, the so-called
     Justice & Development Islamic Party
is nothing but another name for the MBM.
The ruling party in Turkey did not
realize, at the very start, that the
Arab Spring will produce so much
    political change in the region.
Its understanding came as a direct
    response to the developments taking
place near its southern borders after
the collapse of the Gadhafi regime in
Libya. Although the Turks had no influence in the Tunisian First General Elections, the success of the Qatar-backed
Nahda Islamic Movement in October 2011
    enhanced the Turkish hopes.[3]
In Libya the fundamentalists managed to
play a significant role in the civil war.
    Their military strength will determine
their actual share in the formation of the
    new Libyan government and their
    influence on the constitution. Recent
    developments in Libya strongly indicate
     the influence of the Qatar-backed
Islamists. The Head of the Libyan
    Transitional Council made his first
     public declaration after the collapse
of the Gadhafi regime where he claimed
     that the future Libyan constitution
will be based upon Islamic Sharia
and nothing in the constitution will
     be allowed to contradict Sharia.
This represents a significant setback to
the Libyan legal system and Libyan

    Women's Movements have already
declared their opposition to such trends
.[4] The fundamentalists are not in
line with Turkey but rather with Qatar.
In Syria, the competition is fierce between
Turkey and Qatar as the main opposition
     to the regime is represented
     by the Sunni Muslims, although
    ecent developments in Tunisia and
Egypt showed that Qatar is providing
    significant financial support to the
     Islamists. Both Turkey and Qatar
are attempting to have a stronger
     influence within this opposition.
The fundamentalists in Syria are as
    strong and recent developments
indicate that Syria is moving towards a
    bloody civil confrontation. The Syrian
society is composed of a number of
    competing ethnic minorities such as
    the ruling Alawaya, the Darouz,
     the ChristiansShiite Muslims(Imamyia
    and Ismailia), the Sunni Muslims
and the Kurds. The Sunni Muslims
represents the largest of all, and it
is the source of the Muslim Brotherhood
     Movement and other Islamic Fundamentalists.
The collapse of the Syrian regime
will ignite a fierce civil war that will
     polarize the entire Middle East.
It will not be incorrect to assume
that the consequences of the collapse
of the present Syrian regime will create
     two main axes. The first
     axis will represent the alliance
of theShiite Muslims that includes the
    Alawaya, Darouz and the Christians
strongly supported by Iran, Iraq, and
the Shia in Lebanon. While the other axis will include the Sunni Muslims supported mainly by Qatar,
Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Sunni of Lebanon,
     Al-Qaeda organization, and
    other Sunni countries. Neighboring
     countrieslike Jordan, Lebanon and
Iraq have already started fearing the consequences of such a scenario.
    The Growth of Islamism
The dangers that the Islamists represent stems from the fact that they are well-organized. As the State collapses and a power vacuum appears, the Islamists are the first to reap the benefits of such a vacuum. They increase in numbers under such fertile circumstances. Young people get attracted by Islamic political propaganda. On the other hand, the Islamists show no mercy to secular organizations. Women without the hijab are under continuous attack[,5] men without beards are discriminated against. To put it in a nutshell, the actionrequired by a committed Muslim before Munker occurs (that which is undesirable under Islam)[6] is some form of violence. Let take few real examples from recent events in Tunisia:
    • The Islamists require that the Constitution be based on Islamic Sharia, and not on modern secular principles. This is a very serious step backwards and produces far reaching consequences on the rights and duties of the citizens. Under Sharia the citizens have no equal rights. Men have more rights than women. Muslims have more rights than non-Muslims. People are not equal before the law. But there is a more serious consequence of such a constitution: political parties that are secular or those parties that challenge the religious nature of the constitution are not allowed to participate in future general elections. As was the case in Iran, this will ensure that the political system will never develop into a non-Islamic one, and will illegitimate the secular political parties.
    • The whole education system is re-written by Islamists with the purpose of brain-washing new generations.
    • People holding social gatherings and parties are continuously attacked by Islamists on the grounds that singing and music are forbidden in Islam and they are considered to be some form of Munker. This happens in a country like Tunisia (and Egypt, and other countries) where tourism represents one of its main sources of foreign reserves.
    • Satellite TV Stations are attacked and burnt for showing films that are not approved by the Islamists (as happened to Nasma TV in Tunisia recently).
    • Women will not be able to wear normal bathing suits in swimming pools and on the beaches. Generally, women are required to wear Islamist costume, and not only the hijab.
    • Women are not allowed to attend interviews, go to work, travel, and generally go outdoors without a Male Mahram[7] (MM).
    • The Islamists require the establishment of strict censorship on all authorship to ensure that the ideas published do not contradict Sharia.
    • The establishment of Guidance Committees to control the behavior of people in the streets.
All of that put together will represents an end to personal freedoms and freedom of expression in the 21st century.
    The Islamists Dilemma
But what is more pressing is actually the state of the economy. The Arab Spring was first ignited by economic needs of the poor, and not by the need to apply Sharia. The Islamists have won the elections in Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco. In these three Muslim countries the people are waiting for the solution to their state of poverty. They have relied on the promises that Islam is the Solution and voted. The people are not interested in Sharia, or in wearing the hijab, but rather in improving their living standards. Poverty, unemployment, economic growth and inequalities in wealth distribution are what concern the people, while the Islamic Political Parties are interested in applying the Sharia and introducing new controls on society like the Religious Police.[8] Introducing Religious Police has already been proposed in Tunisia. The imposition of the Religious Police will lead to the end of tourism in countries like Tunisia, Egypt and Morocco. The agenda of political Islam will not satisfy the aspirations of the people, who are waiting for solutions to their pressing problems. The most striking demand of the revolting masses is income redistribution. This issue is not an item on the Islamists Agenda.[9] It will take at least a full term of Islamic government rule before the people in the Muslim countries understand that Islam has no magical power to provide immediate answers to their urgent economic needs.
Polarization of Religion and Options facing Israel
The Arab Spring is moving events in such a way as to create to main poles (Sunni and Shia).  In their turn these two main poles will be subdivided into two secondary blocks. Intentionally, or unintentionally, the creation of this polarization is already taken place. Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Tunisia, and Morocco (and HAMAS in Gaza Strip) backed by the ruling Turkish Justice & Development Party will eventually form one main regional bloc.[10] Fundamentalist in Egypt (Nour Party), Libya, Yemen, and Syria with the support of Qatar will be part of another bloc. These two blocs will form the Sunni Pole in the Middle East. While Muslim Shiite in Lebanon will form a block with Iran, and Muslim Shiite in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia will follow Shiite leadership in Iraq. These two blocks will form the Shiite Pole.
Faced with such surrounding realities Israel can play a decisive role in bridging between two of the subgroups. The moderate Iraq-backed Shiite Muslims can break away from their natural pole (Iran) and ally themselves with the moderate Turkish-backed Muslim Brotherhood bloc. The USA has the capability and influence to facilitate an Israeli positive role in bridging the two aforementioned moderate blocs.[11] The futuristic picture or scenario of the Middle East under such developments requires fresh thinking and different methods of analysis. The conclusions reach by traditional political analysis should open the door for new possibilities, but such possibilities require proactive roles from countries like Israel if the events are to take a specific course out of a number of possible alternatives.

The final analysis will be that the armies of the world will encompass Jerusalem for the last battle...and then the END!

    Day of the Lord
    Zechariah 14:1-7
Zechariah 14 begins with the following declaration: “Behold, the day of the Lord cometh” (v.1). To understand the significance of this declaration, we must observe several facts.

First, the expression the Day of the Lord refers to God’s special intervention into world events to judge His enemies, accomplish His purpose for history, and thereby demonstrate who He is-the sovereign God of the universe (Isa. 2:10-22; Ezek. 13:5, 9, 21, 23; 30:3, 8, 19, 25-26).
Second, several Days of the Lord already have occurred in which God demonstrated His sovereign rule by raising up nations to execute His judgment on other nations. Foe example, He raised up Babylon to judge Egypt and its allies during the 500, B.C. (Jer. 46:2, 10; Ezek. 30:3-6.

The Future Day Of The Lord:

However, the Bible also foretells a future Day of the Lord. For example, Isaiah 2:10-22 describes a Day of the Lord that will involve the sixth seal of the future seventieth week of Daniel 9 (Rev. 6:12-17). The apostle Paul foretold a future Day of the Lord when sudden, inescapable destruction will come on all who have not obeyed the gospel of Jesus Christ .  (1 Th. 5:1-11).

Wrath and Blessing. The Bible also indicates that the future Day of the Lord will have at least a twofold nature. On the one hand, it will be characterized by darkness and a terrible outpouring of divine wrath on the world (Zeph. 1:14-15). Such will be its nature during the seventieth week of Daniel 9 (the Tribulation period).

Yet it also will be characterized by light, an outpouring of divine blessing, and the administration of God’s rule over the earth. After describing the darkening of the sun, moon, and stars and God’s Day-of-the-Lord judgment of the armies of the nations gathered in Israel (Joel 3:9-16), the prophet Joel foretold great, divine blessing “in that day” (3:18-21).

After discussing the future Day of the Lord, when the armies of all nations will war against Jerusalem and the Messiah will come to Earth to fight them (14:1-5), the prophet Zechariah indicated that “that day” will also be characterized by light (v.6-7), great blessing (v.8), and the administration of God’s rule over all the earth (v.9). Such will be the nature of the Day of the Lord during the Millennium.
