The Power Of Pentecost!

What truly divides most Christians is doctrine. I am speaking to salvific concerns not peripheral. If a group calling themselves Christians are not teaching the biblical doctrine of salvation, I first assume the best...that they will be like Apollos and while they might be mighty in preaching what they do know, be humble and hungry to take a "Pricilla and Aquila" instruction, that they may "study to show thyself approved of God, a workman who needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." If they will not receive truth, (spoken in love) then the Word judges them to be false teachers. And that they have another Gospel and another Jesus...and are accursed.

So, the main division is those who have been filled with the Holy Ghost but do not have the teaching that it is salvific and not "a second blessing." When viewed as "optional"...one is believing a lie, and this creates stronholds against understanding the need to "Be ye filled with the Holy Ghost" daily! And that division keeps them united with Calvinistic cessationists who reject the baptism of the Holy Ghost for today, who still teach their people (or ignore issue) that speaking in tongues is not of God, and the gifts of the spirit are demonically inspired. That is the "Elephant in the the upper-room!"

We will never achieve a " 2 Chronicles 7: 14 until there be a reconciliation of Joseph and his brothers (allegory) for the House of Jacob (Spiritual Israel/Church) to be one. At the same time we still want all believers to congregate in the outer courts because of the undeniable blessings of God when "I will hear from heaven and heal the land." Apollos thought his doctrine was complete. But Priscilla and Aquila evangelized him. Acts 18: "This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spoke and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. 26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him to them, and expounded to him the way of God more perfectly."

We can't leave it up to any organization's hierarchy to have a council or convention. The purpose of the five fold ministry is to equip the saints....sheep begat sheep. When I was a new convert I heard Bro. Wayne McClain preach on the "Fields are ripe with Harvest." He pointed out how in all the denominations...(without biblical salvation teaching) were likened to a fruit tree where some fruit was still green on the tree and not ripe yet...if you pick it too early it can be damaged. Some has fallen off and is on the ground all about in different stages ready for harvest.

Some about to rot, and must be salvaged first. And that even down the road is already harvested fruit that has fallen out. (backsliders) His message was so powerful and moved me into my call and I entered prison ministry for youthful offenders where so many young men believed they were Christians but need to be asked, "Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed? And when they were shown truth (Acts ch 8) revival broke out!
