Color my world...by Steven E. Masone
(Herald Newspaper Stockton Ca.)
Election 08, Last round and the judge's have it scored a tie! Win this round and you become the most powerful leader, party, in the world.
So... do you fight like a lamb or a lion? Gloves on or off? Nice or nasty? The answer is simple, any way you can! If it's lipstick on a pig or terrorist friends, or anti-Israel, calling attention to Obama;s bigoted Pastor and an ashamed of America wife, all is fair! This is politics!
The left has so thoroughly drenched us with political correctness, whining and complaining about mean spirited campaigning when politics are politics. The left's age old delusion of utopia brings up another pig story... "You can't make a silk purse out of a pigs ear." Sorry, no matter how much you whine, cry, or chant, the voters of this country, like a good fight! You know when liberals are worried when they pander to the idiotic fears that the Republican ticket will be another Bush administration. Then, by their own logic, any other democratic administration would also be the same as the previous ones! ( well, perhaps Hilliary's would have been redundant). So keep shouting about O'bama's "clinging to guns and religion" flap, inexperience, "elitist condescending and sexist" remarks, Republicans can take it on the chin and dish it right back, taking the gloves off, and quit letting the liberal media color our world of politics by "queensbury" rules! Politics is street fighting and always will be. If you cant take the heat get out of the kitchen because it's time to make bacon!
Sarah Palin won the hearts of her party's faithful when she came out swinging, why in heavens name should she not do more of the same? Because it's "mean spirited?" "divisive?" "hateful?", So is the killing of 3,000 unborn children every day! Attacking and destroying our faith, morals and seeing our national sovereignty sold out to the "global village"! The dismantling of our constitution, and revision of our history and heritage.
When polls show our foreign enemies are overwhelmingly for the blue ticket, I could care less how the left wants to color conservatives with their old and tired cliche's, we are fighting for the aforementioned real issues, not blue sky Marxist socialism.
