End Time Prophesy Revealed!

by Pastor Steven Masone

The Apostle Paul warns the Church at Thessaloniki not to be disturbed about rumors that the Lords return was imminent.

2 Thessalonians 2:

1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
 3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Paul reminded these believers that he had taught them before, the Lords teaching of the end of the world.

Matthew 24: 3And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

While the Lord taught about all the signs we would see leading up to his return, there were several key things that must occur absolutely before his imminent return can be looked for.

Matthew 24: 14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Never before in the history of mankind can the Gospel be preached into all the world like it is being preached today! The internet is taking Daniels prophesy of increased knowledge to fulfillment.

That key prophesy is fulfilled. The next important is found in the next verse,

15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Paul taught what Jesus taught...that the falling away (apostasy) would come as the man of sin ( Antichrist) is revealed. The man of sin (son of perdition) is both manifested in the flesh of one man as "The Beast" and in all who are apostate that have received "The strong delusion from God " that they believe a lie ( Antichrist is Christ) "because they received not the love of the truth."

These will be 'Goats' who believe they are Sheep. These will be foolish virgins whose lamps once filled with oil, now no longer have light. (Lukewarm)

Scripture is clear that Jesus will not know those who say Lord, Lord did we not (past tense) do many things in thy name?

Jesus will look for those who are "doing (present tense) the will of God."

The delusion God will send, will have those in delusion looking for literal fulfillment of signs just like those who thought the messiah would come and set up literal kingdom instead of what Jesus actually did. "My kingdom is not of this World." But few will enter therein.

Is there going to be a physical abomination? What does the Bible teach?

Abomination (from Latin abominari, "to deprecate as an ill omen") is an English term used to translate the Biblical Hebrew terms shiqquwts("shiqqûts") and sheqets, which are derived from shâqats, or the terms תֹּועֵבָהtōʻēḇā or to'e'va (noun) or ta'ev (verb). An abomination in English is that which is exceptionally loathsome, hatefulsinfulwicked, or vile.
The Biblical words usually translated as "abomination" do not always convey the same sense of moral exceptionalism as the English term does today, as it often may signify that which is forbidden or unclean according to the religion (especially sheqets). Linguistically in this case, it may be closer in meaning to the Polynesian term taboo or tapu, signifying that which is forbidden, and should not be eaten, and or not touched, and which sometimes was a capital crime. The word most often translated "abomination" to denote grave moral offenses isTōʻēḇā. This article examines the term as it is used in English translations of the Bible, and also the actual senses of the words which are being translated into this term in English.[1]
The term shiqquwts is translated abomination by almost all translations of the Bible. The similar words, sheqets, and shâqats, are almost exclusively used for dietary violations.
The most often used but different Hebrew term, tōʻēḇā, is also translated as abomination in the Authorized King James Version, and sometimes in the NASB. Many modern versions of the Bible (including the NIV and NET) translate it detestable; the NAB translates itloathsome. It is mainly used to denote idolatry; and in many other cases it refers to inherently evil[2] things such as illicit sex, lying, murder, deceit, etc.; and for unclean foods.

The Revealing of the Man of Sin

2 Thessalonians 2:
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, [1]2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth [2] that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Paul is reminding the Church of his earlier teaching regarding the second coming of Christ. First, "a falling away" (apostasia)...must first come allowing the "man of sin" (Antichrist) to sit in the temple of God desecrating it by shewing himself that he is God.

Many believe that "the man of sin revealed" will be the personification of Satan in "the son of perdition." Another counterfeit type of Satan manifesting himself in the flesh as God did in Christ, John 1:1

Judas Iscariot was also referred to as "the son of perdition" by Jesus in Jn 17:12 So we see in "type" that the falling away, apostasy is connected to the "son of perdition, who like Judas will be a christian who betrays Christ's teachings and like Satan, will cause many believers to rebel in "falling away" as Lucifer did with Heaven's Angels.
We can see that this is happening collectively by those who claim the name of Christ but have gone far from his true teachings against sin and biblical teachings of salvation and holiness. So there is millions who are apostate waiting for their "messiah" false Christ to legitimize their 'doctrines of devils'.
It is not by his own power that this "son of perdition" rises to the position we see him elevated to in the book of Revelation, but an apostate Church welcomes him.     Rev 13

Revelation 13

1[AS] [a]I stood on the sandy beach, I saw a beast coming up out of the sea with ten horns and seven heads. On his horns he had ten royal crowns (diadems) and blasphemous titles (names) on his heads.    2And the beast that I saw resembled a leopard, but his feet were like those of a bear and his mouth was like that of a lion. And to him the dragon gave his [own] might and power and his [own] throne and great dominion.
3And one of his heads seemed to have a deadly wound. But his death stroke was healed; and the whole earth went after the beast in amazement and admiration.
4They fell down and paid homage to the dragon, because he had bestowed on the beast all his dominion and authority; they also praised and worshiped the beast, exclaiming, Who is a match for the beast, and, Who can make war against him?
5And the beast was given the power of speech, uttering boastful and blasphemous words, and he was given freedom to exert his authority and to exercise his will during forty-two months (three and a half years).
6And he opened his mouth to speak slanders against God, blaspheming His name and His abode, [even vilifying] those who live in heaven.
7He was further permitted to wage war on God's holy people (the saints) and to overcome them. And power was given him to extend his authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation,
8And all the inhabitants of the earth will fall down in adoration and pay him homage, everyone whose name has not been recorded in the Book of Life of the Lamb that was slain [in sacrifice] [b]from the foundation of the world.
9If anyone is able to hear, let him listen:
10Whoever leads into captivity will himself go into captivity; if anyone slays with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. Herein is [the call for] the patience and the faith and fidelity of the saints (God's people).
11Then I saw another beast rising up out of the land [itself]; he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke (roared) like a dragon.
12He exerts all the power and right of control of the former beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell upon it to exalt and deify the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed, and to worship him.
13He performs great signs (startling miracles), even making fire fall from the sky to the earth in men's sight.
14And because of the signs (miracles) which he is allowed to perform in the presence of the [first] beast, he deceives those who inhabit the earth, commanding them to erect a statue (an image) in the likeness of the beast who was wounded by the [small] sword and still lived.
15And he is permitted [also] to impart the breath of life into the beast's image, so that the statue of the beast could actually talk and cause to be put to death those who would not bow down and worship the image of the beast.
16Also he compels all [alike], both small and great, both the rich and the poor, both free and slave, to be marked with an inscription [[c]stamped] on their right hands or on their foreheads,
17So that no one will have power to buy or sell unless he bears the stamp (mark, inscription), [that is] the name of the beast or the number of his name.
18Here is [room for] discernment [a call for the wisdom [d]of interpretation]. Let anyone who has intelligence (penetration and insight enough) calculate the number of the beast, for it is a human number [the number of a certain man]; his number is 666.

Rise up out of the sea refers to "coming from the people"  "sea" always represents people where both literal and symbolic can be applied. This is the "son of perdition" as head of the body of apostate Christianity (sea). While we can ascribe the usual suspects in organizational entities that are guilty of heresy, all who worship the Beast includes the lukewarm of every flavor that have apostatized and "love not the Truth."

Remember, to fall from the faith you must have once actually fulfilled the biblical born again experience, all else are tares that claim the name, but are thieves and robbers who tried to get in their own way. So the abomination of desolation spoken by the prophet Daniel might have been seen before in Antiochus Epiphanes lV in type/shadow but the Daniel 11 figure of the end time Antichrist culminates with rapture and Resurrection immediatly in Chapter 12.
1. And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

So the abomination of desolation like many think has to do with a Jewish rebuilt temple, is not seen in scripture here. The Body of Christ is the temple of the Holy Ghost and it's apostasy is the desolation! And the "son of perdition" is like Judas, betraying the Lord for money. The Antichrist will save the worlds economy and promise to bring peace etc..with his False Prophet anointing him worthy of worship.
(Read posts concerning Gold 666 the Beast), and 666 Rising military Beast.

We can see mega churches whose preacher will not condemn sin, will not declare homosexuality as sin, will not declare that without faith in Jesus and obedience to biblical plan of salvation, one will not reach heaven.
Even preachers like Billy Graham are on film with that heresy...see:    http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=billy+graham+denies+jesus&aq=2&oq=Billy+Gra

Perhaps there will be some sort of replay of a Jewish Temple desecration, but Daniel 11 27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Causing the sacrifice and oblation to cease, cannot be an abomination making desolate a temple where God no longer lives in one made by hands. Only where the Holy Ghost lives can that be desecrated. "Know ye not, ye are the temple of the Holy Ghost?"

Now Daniel 11 tells of Antichrist as the King (World leader) that is described in Rev 13, fighting and capturing finances (Gold) right up to Daniel 12 where Michael the Archangel makes way for the return of Christ, Rapture and into the thousand year reign.

36And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
37Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
38But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
39Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
40And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
41He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
42He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
43But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
44But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
45And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. ( come to his end as Christ and Church defeat him)
Dan 12
4But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
5Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
6And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
7And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
Scatter the power of the Holy People (The falling away) and then all that Daniel's vision foretold shall finish.
So if we are experiencing "Apostasy" then the "son of perdition" will rise and God will send a strong delusion to all
who are lukewarm 2 Thess1:11" And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

Lukewarmness is not how you have convinced yourself how much you love Jesus, it is all about Matthew 25:

Matthew 25:31-46

King James Version (KJV)

31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

"Be ye doers of the Word...not hearers only."
