Revelation 12: The Woman And Dragon Explained!

By Steven Masone,11th Hour Ministry Of The Lord Jesus Christ https://www.facebook.com/Eleventh-Hour-Ministry-LJC-136182549774150/

5 years ago, concerning Dec 21st, we played with numerology...now we're back to Astrology. What next? Necromancy?
Isaiah 8:19
"When they say to you, "Consult the mediums and the spiritists who whisper and mutter," should not a people consult their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living?" Isaiah 8:19
"You are wearied with your many counsels;
let them stand forth and save you,
all those who divide the heavens,
who gaze at the stars,
who at the new moons make known
what shall come upon you.
14 Behold, they are like stubble;
the fire consumes them;
they cannot deliver themselves
from the power of the flame.
No coal for warming oneself is this,
no fire to sit before!"

Revelation 12: 1And there appeared a great wonder (sign) in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
4And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
5And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
7And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
13And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
14And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
15And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
16And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
17And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The significance of The Woman in this story is missed by most interpretations of who she is... Israel? The Church? Mary? The Bible can, and must interpret itself.
The Law of first Mention
The  Hermeneutical law of First Mention: The Law of First Mention may be said to be the principle that requires one to go to that portion of the Scriptures where a doctrine is mentioned for the first time and to study the first occurrence of the same in order to get the fundamental inherent meaning of that doctrine.
When this law is applied the simple precedes the complex.

A history of the development of anything will show that it sprang from something in the very simplest form (for example the steamship; airplane; automobile).
In the Scriptures the growth and development of ideas and doctrine might be illustrated by some simple word.

Throughout the history of a term it may have increased its meaning and undergone certain changes, yet the basic, original, fundamental thought is seldom lost.

The fundamental concept usually controls or is dominant in coloring every shade of idea expressed by a term in its current usage in Genesis 11.

Observe how God dated events in the Bible from the time of the creation of man, "Anno Homonis" (A.H.).
Study the doctrine concerning the wrath of God and His judgments.

Observe how God has dealt with the sinfulness of man on an international scale (Gen 6 to 8).
Observe how God must deal with the sinfulness of mankind yet in the future (Luke 17:26-30; Rev 19:15).
Study the Rainbow-Noahic Covenant which God made with man (Gen 9:1-16) and observe the following:
The Rainbow Covenant is an everlasting covenant.God entered into this covenant with all humanity.

God's obligation under this covenant, "the everlasting covenant" is never again to destroy the earth by water (flood).
Man's obligation under this covenant is to obey the four provisions of the covenant God laid down for man's benefit (Genesis 9:3-7). (Read Isa. 24:5; Rev 4:3).

Study the beginning of Hebrew history. God made a covenant with Abraham (Gen 12:1-3).
To confirm the fact that God chose Israel, read Deut. 32:8,9.

So the teaching of this "Woman' we can find in Genesis also in chapter 37:9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.
This was Joseph explaining his dream that is the exact image we see in Revelation 12 "a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars" Of course his Mother, Rachael,{ meaning Ewe mother of sheep} represented the Moon and pointing prophetically to the Bride of Christ. Jacob {Israel} The Father, the Sun. Pointing to The Son ~Jesus.
The Woman, ready to birth "The Seed" that was prophesied would come from the mother of all living..."EVE" that would destroy the same serpent/dragon who deceived her and caused the fall. "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel".
Note how the serpent cast water out of his mouth 5 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
It all started with The Woman and The Serpent, and it will all end with the Woman and the Serpent/Dragon!

The final Woman of Revelation 12, is the Bride of Christ. The "Flood" {water always depicts peoples and nations} is the armies and followers of Antichrist, the False Prophet, the strong delusion, and his Bride Mystery Babylon.

The earth opening is both the bloody destruction of enemies of Christ at Armageddon (first mention Gen 4:11 "And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;"} and, The Lake of Fire! The Woman is The Church {Spiritual Israel} with the seed of Abraham being ready to be birthed into her/their reward at the Second Coming of Jesus. Verse 17 of Chapter 12 proves this is not National Israel..."And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Just like the Church at Pentecost was empowered to begin the Church Age, the 11th Hour Ministry will be empowered to be anointed with the Spirit of Elijah
