Middle East at Prophetic Critical Mass!
The events unfolding daily in the Middle East are fitting into prophesy as never before. While the book of Revelation is more generalized prophesy that gives us the wider view of the Beast Kingdom rising out of the sea that will fulfill end time prophesy, the book of Daniel gives us blow by blow detail of the militaristic political strategy of the same.
The interpretation of Daniel is more complicated because the modern day powers include Europe while in Daniels time it was not known by it's modern name and designation. All peoples came from the cradle of biblical Eden, and Daniel saw those powers and kings that were type and shadows of the modern powers they foretold of. It is important not to get hung up on the literal geographical designations and labels of these players.
For example, when Daniel speaks of the daughter of the king of the south, we cannot assume it has to be a nation that must be literal "south of all players." The daughter can be descended from that king but come from another area where she had migrated and or was intermarried to another kingdom as is the case in royal families for consolidation of allies and peace treaties.
In Israel, the Northern tribes rebelled from Judah where the rightful throne of David was established. The prophesy in Amos that the tabernacle of David would be rebuilt referred to the Church of Jesus Christ, not the literal temple for David did not build the literal one.
So the Southern tribes were Judah and Levi, the ten lost tribes (northern) were scattered into all the world and represent rebellion towards God's divine design. Anytime the "east" is referenced in scripture it has connection to divine origin.
Psalm 103: 12 "As far as the east is from the west- that is how far he has removed our rebellious acts from himself."
The Angel
Gen 3" He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life."
God has placed significance in his word on so very much for those who thirst and hunger for his truth to find if they will seek.
While Europe is north of middle east, it is more significant that the European Union is ordained to represent the rebellious northern tribes who were against the anointed king God ordained. The throne of David was ordained to belong to Christ, and rebellion against it is Antichrist!
The Time of the End
Daniel 12:1 “At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book. 2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; [1] and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.4 But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
Daniel did not know "your people" meant the Church....those whose names are found in the "book" must have obeyed the gospel! Notice vs 3 correlates with Mathew 25 and the ''wise' virgins and "those who turn many to righteousness" are those who win souls, the sheep who Jesus sets on his right. Daniel was of the tribe of Judah.
Once again it is clear that chapter 12 of Daniel is the end...it is the rapture and resurrection for those dead in Christ.
Thus the events in Chapter 11 are present day and not history as the preterist teach. "At that time" vs 1 refers to the subsequent ch 11 events. So if the events we see now are fitting the prophesy of Daniel as well as they have ever fit, to believe that we can not ascribe Daniels prophesy today, is folly. The rapture and resurrection of the righteous is at hand. There is no literal temple to be rebuilt, know ye not, ye are the temple of the Holy Ghost?
