New Birth...believe it or not!

In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
"" John, here in Jn 7:37-39 finished revealing the teaching of the Lord as to

"You must be born again" in Jn 3:3

In John 3:3 the Lord was revealing what would be the result and purpose of his death,
burial & resurrection.ourse manifested on the day of Pentecost.

From Pentecost forward, by the Apostles words/teaching, further revelation of "being born '
again" continued in revelation by The Holy Ghost, through the Apostles teaching.

Jesus in his prayer for his disciples made it clear that all would have to be saved according
to Apostolic doctrine.

Jn 17:17- 20

17 "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;"

Acts 8:  " Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

Acts 8: 14 ) (did not receive it at baptism, although one can)

7 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. ( a separate
experience from born of water in baptism and at point of belief and repentance, although
God can give the Promise of the Holy Ghost in any form and fashion that he pleases.) "The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not

tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit."
