Love Waxed Cold = Apostasy

As the world turns more violent and chaotic, millions of born again believers move from their "first love" as their "love waxes cold." "And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Mat. 24:10-13
Look at John 13:34&35 ( A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.)

We find so many misinterpreting this truth. It is the same danger we see when people claim to have faith, but without works...their faith is dead. Self deception deludes many that all they must have is a warm fuzzy feeling for God and the lost and they call it Love. The commandment above is "that ye love one another" and... "if ye have love ONE TO ANOTHER! A love that is a witness to the lost. One to another denotes action...not just lip service. In Mathew 24 Jesus' disciples asked Him: "WHAT SHALL BE THE SIGN OF THY COMING, AND OF THE END OF THE WORLD? Along with all the other signs that Jesus told them about, He lets them know that BECAUSE INIQUITY SHALL ABOUND, THE LOVE OF MANY SHALL WAX COLD!"

"Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.  Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.) The reason for one to leave their FIRST LOVE is because THEY HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH SOMETHING ELSE; THEIR AFFECTIONS ARE ON OTHER THINGS!

"For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world."  And that is the iniquity that abounds....we have created our own apostolic world we call holy...but it is not. If it was we would not have the schisms and divisions. While the Word proclaims there is no male or female, Jew nor Greek, bond or free in Christ Jesus, we clearly see that is our dirty unspoken violation where the nepotism and cronyism is called "Ministry" and at meetings, camps, and conferences, the nobodies and poor and new converts are seated in the back of the love feasts and kept separate from the "royalty."

"Then Jesus said to his host, “When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not
invite your friends, your brothers or relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”

As long as wax is hot it will continue to melt and FLOW covering a larger area. But when wax becomes COLD, it also becomes HARD! And once it has become HARD, then it can no longer FLOW. This is why Jesus said it in this way. Because when we allow INIQUITY TO ABOUND in our lives, the FIRE goes out, OUR LOVE BECOMES COLD, OUR HEARTS BECOME HARD TOWARDS THE NEEDS OF OTHERS, AND OUR CONCERN, AND COMPASSION NO LONGER FLOWS OUT, IT BECOME LIMITED TO OUR OWN SELFISH WORLD!

This among believers is the APOSTASY.

Rom 12:10) Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; (Rom 15:7) Wherefore receive ye one anotheras Christ also received us to the glory of God. (Gal 5:13) For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. (Gal 5:15) But if ye bite and devour one anothertake heed that ye be not consumed one of another. (Eph 4:2) With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; (Eph 4:32) Andbe ye kind one to anothertenderheartedforgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. (Col 3:13) Forbearing one anotherand forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. (1 Th 4:9) But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another. (Titus 3:3) For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. (Heb 10:24) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: (1 Pet 1:22) Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethrensee that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: (1 John 3:11) For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. (1 John 4:7) Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. (1 John 4:11) Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
