Can we elect a true Christian Conservative in 2016? No! We have gone too far down the proverbial “slippery slope” of repeating history like the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, and seeing prophecy fulfilled in apostasy eroding the biblical principles that we used to call “Fundamentalism.” Because the Church is infected with unbelief and most are “loving the world, and the things of the world,” our leaders (rich young rulers) will not sell all their riches and follow Jesus. So how can the Church influence the politics of the world...when we are of the world?
The last 20 years have seen the U.S. make treaties and trade agreements that have cost us trillions of dollars and our debt is at twenty trillion dollars. Our military power has been reduced and even made a mockery of... thanks to Obama’s “lead from behind” policies. G.W. Bush’s trade policies were hurtful as well.
America will not elect an Extreme Right Candidate for President... yet. We see all of the complaints for the GOP candidates on social media, and everyone’s armchair assessment of who can beat the leftist advance which is threatening to control the Supreme Court as well as take back the Senate and keep the Presidency, is based on who they like, more than reasoned analysis and statistical reality. Feelings are overriding facts.
We conservatives, are as guilty of participating in “personality cult” following, as the left is guilty of their “low info cult” ignorance as well. Our best understanding of what we must do, comes from the wise preacher, King Solomon….
“ The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem:
"Vanity of vanities," says the Preacher; "Vanity of vanities, all is vanity."
What does man gain from all his labor in which he labors under the sun?
One generation goes, and another generation comes; but the earth remains forever.

The wisdom we can conclude here, is that History is our answer! Man has always ignored the lessons of History.
America had to align herself with Joseph Stalin, who committed one of the worst genocidal rampages in History. But, it was necessary to stop a greater evil man named Adolf Hitler.
We have become a myopic generation, of impatient and knee jerk overreacting spoiled brats, who want what they want, and want it now! We cannot see the forest from the trees. We want who (candidates) we like, not what we need! We are ready to throw out the baby with the bathwater if we don’t get our way. That’s why we have sat in our mega churches with all the eye candy and luxurious accommodations any Apostatized Organisation has ever had. We have followed our rich young rulers who have piped the tunes of prosperity to us, while the world is going to hell, and millions of souls lost due to our indifference and apostasy
What is the difference between our country being in $20,000,000,000 debt, and our congregations members being in debt, our church building projects millions in debt as well? Scale ..only scale.
“Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the Lord's house should be built.
Then came the word of the Lord by Haggai the prophet, saying,
Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?
Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.
Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.
Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.
Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the Lord.
Ye looked for much, and, lo it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the Lord of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.
Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.
And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.” Haggai 1.
Our nation does not operate according to God's’ law. Never has. Only will when Jesus returns. Until then, our only hope is to do our duty as Christians by using wisdom to stop the bleeding, rather than think we are going to have it the way we think it ought to be!
We cannot afford to let the GOP disintegrate if we ever want to see abortion ended. That should be our number one priority...but it will not happen until we win the hearts and minds of the American voters back to the center-right.
We have lost every war where we did not win the hearts and minds of the people we thought we were liberating.
